Greetings Family and Friends!

It has now been over six years since I began on my “new” life as a writer.

And I know it's been a long time since I've sent out any newsletters, but I never realized just how long until I looked at my previous letters. Somehow another year has slipped under the bridge. A project (the sequel) that I had fully expected to finish within a few months has somehow dragged on for six years. That surprises me.

I write in cycles, it would seem. There are times when I will crank out volumes and volumes in short order, caught up in the excitement of creating a new world, new characters, and going for a wild writing ride that invariably takes me to places unexpected. It's exciting. It reminds me of why I enjoy writing fiction.

But then I sit on it for another year, while doing other things, such as working full - time (I'm now in charge of three publications), and writing my silly columns, and parenting and watching television (curse you Netflix!).

Well, I'm pleased to report that I've taken one more step towards publishing the followup to ENDLESS – although this second novel will stand on its own. I've finished proof - reading the manuscript I'd printed last year and just as soon as I've made all of the changes in the Word Doc, I'll be looking for a publisher.

I'm excited about wrapping it up, and I'm grateful to all of you who have encouraged me, indeed, urged me to hurry up and finish the thang!

I recently posted the good news on Facebook, and I was so happy to see the many “likes” and other encouraging comments from my friends on there. I know there's great energy coming from all of you and it motivates me.
