Hello Readers,

After the terrible events within the United States of America and the prospect of war against Afghanistan in the near future, life is precious and each day a gift we should be content with.
I have recently returned from New Zealand where I visited family and friends enjoying their love, hospitality and friendship. The admiration and encouragement that I received from them when I gave them signed copies of my first book ‘Angels of Saigon’ strengthened my resolve to continue writing about world events and distant countries that I have been fortunate to visit over the last two years.
In August I returned from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where I had visited the remarkably, spiritual site of Angkor Wat and other ancient temples of Buddhist worship. Violent events plague this troubled country which is experiencing further unrest with the up-coming commune elections. The smiling faces of the people welcomed me everywhere that I traveled, despite the obvious signs of poverty in the rural areas. Friendships blossomed here and I hope to return to Phnom Penh next year.
Good News! ‘Angels of Saigon’ is selling better than my expectations in the USA and Canada and worldwide. There may be slight delays receiving your copy, but don’t despair, as the printers in the USA are printing further copies. My second book

Newsflash! My time in Uzbekistan in 2000 and Cambodia 2001 has given me the opportunity to continue writing and gather material for further books. I’m currently writing a mystery/thriller based in Australia and takes in events in Cambodia. In my mind I’m planning a book on the wonderful people that I traveling with to Bukhara, Khiva and Sarmakand. The friendships and adventures there still strong in my thoughts, especially with the coming battle with Afghanistan so close to their borders.
