C. A. Webb, Inc. is pleased to announce another exciting week for its organization.
* Beginning on Tuesday, March 9, 2004, C. A. Webb will be interviewing singer/songwriter Martha Simpson on his radio talk show "Conversations with C. A. Webb." Simpson is a regular guest on the program, however, she will be releasing a "first listen" to her newest project that is setting the stage for her sophomore cd that will be released later this year! The program can be heard on WMPR 90.1 FM at 7:30p.m., and they will be taking your calls.
* On Thursday, March 11, 2004, C. A. Webb and VSA Arts of MS will team up again from 10-1p.m. to host an art display in the common area of the Jackson Medical Mall. Webb will have his preview spoken word cds available as well as his unique line of greeting cards, postcards, and color prints. (Also, remember that his artwork can be seen everyday inside of Two Sisters Deli inside the Jackson Medical Mall across from Picadilly.)
AND DON'T FORGET THE MAIN EVENT ON MARCH 11, 2004.
C. A. Webb will be hosting a special edition of "Conversations with C. A. Webb," at 7:00p.m. He will be conducting an EXCLUSIVE radio interview with horror writer Brandon Massey from Atlanta, GA. Massey will be in Jackson, MS promoting his second horror novel DARK CORNER and will ONLY talking to Webb over the radio airwaves. They will be taking your calls, so you are encouraged to join the discussion. DARK CORNER is an exciting thriller about an evil lurking in a small Mississippi town. (Massey will be hosting a book signing at the Lyric Lounge inside of C's Deli on Friday, March 12, 2004 beginning at 8:30p.m.)
*** C. A. Webb would also like to remind everyone that the promotion continues for the chance to receive your FREE ticket for the free weekend in a jacuzzi suite at the Best Western Executive Inn. The drawing will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2004 during Webb's poetry reading FIRE AND ICE at 7:30p.m. (The event will be videotaped by Bruce Polite of Video Vision and is free to the public.)
