MS artist C. A. Webb, host of WMPR's "Conversations with C. A. Webb" is looking for artists (open to any genre or style) for guest appearances on his radio talk show. "Conversations" began in Sept. 2003, and has become the open forum on radio in Mississippi to introduce artists and let them discuss matters that are unique to them. Past interviews have been conducted with the likes of the revolutionary duo M.U.G.A.B.E.E., Donna Ladd of the Jackson Free Press, satire by Ken Stiggers, Stacia of the Candlewax Cafe (Channel 18, PEG) and staff of the MS Arts Commission.
Guest spots are available for July through October, with the following topics being discussed:
1. Sex, drugs, and violence in the Arts: How far is too far?
2. Uncovering buried talents in the Arts
3. Celebrating the Arts at what cost?
4. Freedom of Expression or Pornography
During each show the artist is encouraged to give contact information about themselves and upcoming events.
