This year is off to a great start for the Arts, and I am so glad to be a small part of the movement that is taking place right now in MS and neighboring states.
Here are just a few announcements to keep in mind going into the weekend:
* The Lyric Lounge will have open mike tonight at Santiago's (101 South St.) in Jackson, MS. Hosted by Ken Stiggers and Sister Regal and music by Motown Brown. Poetry begins at 9p.m.
* Webb Wednesday is BACK and ready to be better than ever--- now at Best Western Executive Inn, Downtown Jackson. We have a great night of poetry, music and refreshments for you to enjoy beginning at 7:30p.m. Hosted by C. A. Webb. Admission is $5.00.
* Don't forget that Webb's show REFLECTIONS will be in Jackson, MS on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at the Smith Robertson Museum. See the website www.cawebb.com for details about performances.
* C. A. Webb second full-length poetry testimony THE TRUTH is now finished and ready for the release date of Saturday, February 26, 2005 at the Smith Robertson, however, look for advance copies to be popping up in New Orleans, Atlanta, Little Rock and Memphis as well as throughout MS as the TO LOVE YOU MORE tour begins on Friday, January 28, 2005 in Biloxi.
