The rumors you've heard are true... Well, at least, this one.

Mississippi artist/author/columnist/radio and television show host C. A. Webb has been handpicked by Mississippi's newest public relations and marketing firm, For The People Productions, to serve as their Chief of Staff. The role puts Webb in the position of mouthpiece for the organization, structuring their message and coordinating their events.

"I'm excited about the new chapter in my life," Webb,31, says. "The President of For The People (Stanley Clark) reached out to me, and I was glad to come on board."

The physical offices of For The People Productions (or FTP) will open in early March 2007 in Canton, Mississippi, however, the new business has wasted no time in introducing itself to the city or the state. On Friday, December 15, 2006 they hosted guest artist/fashion designer Gail Ambeau in her last art show of the year and was able to gather over $700 in supplies that were donated to The Good Samaritan Center. On Wednesday, December 20, 2006 they will host a meet and greet in Pearl, Mississippi featuring a musical performance by Country singer William Michael Morgan and guest speaker, Mayor Yvonne Brown of Tchula, MS.

"We are not just another business opening its doors," says Stanley Clark,34. "My vision for this organization is to truly be for the people. We can handle just about any need, whether its planning a wedding, scheduling a catered dinner,baby shower or scheduling studio time for performing artists. We are exactly the link that is needed to be a one-stop shop for all of our needs."

The Vice-President of FTP, Stephanie Mitchell, explains her role this way: "My real passion is music, so I want to make sure that I do all we can to connect artists to the radio stations, scheduling interviews for them and trying to help them find studio and record companies that will be the best for them."

No matter what they are doing, however, Clark, explains the overall goal this way: "At the end of the day, we are here to help. That is why every event that we host will include a donation to a worthy cause. During December 2006, it was The Good Samaritan Center, but we have plans to work with schools and other non-profit groups like Genesis and Light as well as others."

C. A. Webb, who is accustomed to being in the forefront of events, says he's excited about the challenge of working with others who share his passion. Though he wil continue to grow his organization, C. A. Webb, Inc., For The People Productions will get his full support.
