As with every year, 2007 sees Mississippi artist/author C. A. Webb busy with new ventures and new partnerships but with the same intensity that he brings to every project.

Webb has taken the month of February as his "Know Thyself" Month and has packed over 16 events into the 28 days that are allocated to Black History Month. On his agenda is donating portraits he has drawn of Medgar Evers, Martin Luther King, Oprah Winfrey and Johnnie Cochran to the public relations firm FOR THE PEOPLE PRODUCTIONS, who in turn is giving them to the Medgar Evers Library.

Following this Webb will be participating in the annual Art At Work project with the Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County that will take place at the Hinds College branch in Rankin County. He will also be active with the Rankin County Arts Alliance in their first event of 2007 at Pearl Public Library.

C. A. Webb continue his dedication to education and has speaking engagements at Pecan Park Elementary (Jackson, MS), Hinds Community College(Jackson, MS) as well as several junior high schools.

Aside from these projects, he will be working with For The People Productions throughout the month of February 2007, moderating discussions with bestselling authors Hickson, Bakari Kitwana, Mary B. Morrison, Derrick L. Briggs, Gloria Mallette and C-Murder.

And did we forget to mention that his 11th book comes out on Valentine's Day? MY CONTROVERSY, his highly anticipated new poetic testimony, will be released along with his first poetry reading of the year.
