The Harry Potter series has gotten millions to enjoy reading again, and with that has sparked a frenzy like few series in history.
Now it is all coming to an end: On Saturday, July 21, 2007 the 7th and final book of the series will be released, and with it comes another history-making opportunity for Mississippi media personality C. A. Webb.
Beginning on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 9:30p.m. CST, Webb will serve as Master of Ceremony for the big book release at Waldenbooks Metrocenter. The store will reopen that night until 1a.m. for free games, costume contests, coloring contests and other giveaways. Webb will be reading from the previous six books as well as leading a discussion on the character Snape.
All of the events are free.
