Shadow Play Entertainment, Innovations, Inc., Hollygrove Publishing and their partners in encouraging literacy throughout the United States are gearing up for a historic literary journey of a lifetime: to find the next big thing in publishing. They realize that reading is not only important but providing quality entertainment to the masses is also vital. Introducing "The Write Stuff" (http://www.thewritestufftv.com), a new reality show designed to assist individuals in their quest to better understand how to get their work recognized as well as network with those who have made it in the industry.



This new project will not only encourage creativity but provide assistance to those who are looking to make it in the world of publishing. Created by Cyrus A. Webb (Shadow Play Entertainment/ Conversations Book Club/Hiphop and Books Foundation) and Zane Bell (Innovations, Inc.), the show will take fourteen (14) contestants who have drive, ambition and the willingness to succeed through 14 weeks of challenges that will prepare them for the competitive literary world that they want to be a part of.



As The Write Stuff continues making history in 2009, its partnership with recognizable names and organizations continues to grow. Celebrity Sports & Talent Agent Glenn Toby and his Book Bank Foundation are now sponsors of the project and will aide in promoting the premise of the show as well as supports its main objectives.



"It's simple as ABC," says Toby when discussing the collaboration. "Education is "the right stuff" you need to open closed minds and locked doors. Cyrus and Zane have created a much needed televison show that has value, purpose and excitement. This is the type of vehicle we need to educate and entertain in a manner that encourages everyone to not just tune in but turn on their awareness."



This is not just empty rhetoric. Once homeless and living on the streets of New York City, Glenn Toby was able to use books in his own life to not only educate himself but empower those around him. He created the Book Bank Foundation in 1997 to positively impact the quality of life for New York's homeless. Initially, its primary purpose was to help educate the homeless; Toby believed illiteracy led to crime, addiction, mental illness and despair. Today his initiative has expanded and includes clothing, feeding and educating the homeless. The Philanthropist's goodwill and benevolence have helped millions of families across the United States. "My life's purpose is to heal souls and touch hearts," says Toby. "I can't save the world, but I promised God that I would serve the poor and do all in my power to save those that are lost and without a voice.”



When speaking about how the Book Bank Foundation will aide the reality show, Toby adds this: "The book bank foundation has found "the right stuff" joining forces with Shadow Play Entertainment. Cyrus A Webb is passionate about quality family entertainment and knows how to deliver. My film company Precision Pictures & Films is going to assist in every way to create an awareness about need for education and the disease of poverty." Toby has been added to the team as an Executive Producer with the show and will occasionally host a special Youtube Channel show that will incorporate some of the star power that comes with his brand while staying true to the overall mission and purpose of encouraging literacy and supporting the dreams of those who wish to make it in the publishing world. Toby is also bringing Jeff Gulko (highly sought-after national consultant) and Malik Williams (celebrated composer and Music Supervisor for The Write Stuff) onboard as Contributing Producers on the project in order to add to its success.



Airing on the CW Channel, select My Network Channels and ABC affiliates, The Write Stuff Reality Show will be seen in cities across the country to an audience of over 20 million households. After airing, all episodes will be available on The Write Stuff TV channel on Youtube found at http://www.youtube.com/thewritestufftv. As new markets open, previous episodes will be re-aired with the finale airing simultaneously.



During the interview process, "The Write Stuff" will put the contestants in the faces of those who can make it happen and give them the tools they need to be successful.
