Information
Like many people I always wanted to write a book. Just never thought I had what it takes. To live in Newport RI during the Navy's hay-day was an experience one would never forget. Sailors returning from the monster seas of the North Atlantic could hardly wait to get back to the gin mills of Newport. To uphold the tradition of sailors that went before them, they went ashore and rised hell. So many memories, so many shipmates, where did the time go? What happened to the sailor town? I hope I brought some of it back in my book NEWPORT.
