I am particularly satisfied by Coventry Insurance.

Not only do they represent Medicare (after all, I AM 83!) but they rarely, if ever phone me. Unless they have a problem or something with a particular doctor — which really hasn’t happened since I got rid of Dr.******** (my dear wife didn’t like him, anyway).

What I do like most about them is so long as I pay my ‘co-pay’ to the doctors’ ‘check-in gal’ I never hear from them. And their co-pay schedule is listed on their right on their card — office visits for Primary Care Physicians, Speaclists, Emergency Room visits, etc., ALL, EVERYTHING — no mysteries, no nothing, or anything hidden.

They make sure, certain everything is covered — even home visits by the O.P.’s and D.P.’s and Bath-Women,

And never, ever a monthly statement for their services (special thanx to Becky Winers of BottomLine Insurane Co. for recommending them).

How do they stay in business, you ask? Simple. Like Barack Obama, they believe in one basic tenant — Public Service. They believe that those two little words mean more than when they are spelled out. Public Service. What DOES it mean? More than that — what DOES it imply?

Outside of government: nothing.

In business: EVERYTHING!

When you go into business, and say you are going to offer, above all else, Public Service, you’d better mean it, and know what it means. It means simply that what you are offering is in the Public interest, and your Service will benefit the Public far more than profit, purpose, usefulness, and longevity.

Just look around at what’s available to you. Can you identify ten items—or things—that TRUTHFULLY fill the bill? Ten. That’s all. Just ten.

Can’t you do it? (Can’t is just a four letter word, anyway, isn’t it?) Try fields, instead of ‘items’ Like insurance companies. Like . . .

. . . Conventry Insurance.
