Picture this- every day I run down my driveway like a crazy woman to my mailbox. Why? Is my latest issue of 'This Old House' (yeah, right) due? No- I'm waiting for my latest book, DANCE OF THE MISBEGOTTEN to arrive! Any day now I will hold it in my hands, which means it will be available to the public shortly after. I will keep you posted. You can order it directly from the publisher at 1stbooks.com, or check with your local Borders books. They should be able to order you a copy. My guesstimate (is that a word? Oh well) is that it will be avaiable by September 20th.

Here are some dates you may want to jot down on your calendar- September 27,28 and 29th is the Baltimore Book Fair. This event is a MUST for book lovers! It's a great place to take your kids, and if you're a writer, it's a good place to network and meet fellow hermits!
I will be in the 1stbooks booth somewhere in the north park. The organizers cannot tell me exactly where my booth will be, but the exact location will be in the program/event map that they will give out at the fair.
Come see me! I take cream and sugar in my coffee!!(hee hee)

The next date to jot down is Thursday October 24th. I will be doing a signing at the Frederick Coffee Company, located at 100 East Street in downtown Frederick from 7 to 9 pm. If you've never been to downtown Frederick, you'll be in for a treat! Tree-lined streets, beautiful homes, 'cool' shops and great 'eats' are just a sampling of this great little city! If you decide to make the trip, why not come early, have dinner in town and then walk on over to the coffee shop. E-mail me if you want some ideas for a nice place to eat. Anyone who knows me, knows I like good food, so I have a heads-up on the good spots! Also, if you want to break out your 'velvet' jeans, Frederick is the town to do it in!! Hee hee!

One more thing- 'The Snakeman Cometh' is going through adjustments. I know, you're dying to read it. I know, but please, I'M BUSY!!
