Greetings to my fellow authors and readers. I am Willie Tee, the author of The Winds of Destiny. "Winds" is a nonfiction account of a terrible tragedy that occurred at my grandparents' farm in North Carolina during the summer of 1957. This tragedy seemed to precipitate other tragedies during later years.

Several tragedies and near fatal accidents are depicted in the book. In the backdrop is myfamily's beliefs in witchcraft or voodoo. Their beliefs in withcraft were passed on to my relatives from their West African ancestors.

My book was made available as a paperback during June 2001 by 1st Books Library. The printing is done by Lightning Source, a subsidiary of Ingram Books.

"Winds" is available for order at major chain bookstores and independent bookstores. Many persons have read the book and give it high ratings. I have received remarks such as, "Excellent, I could not put the book down. I read it straight through, which took five hours." "I could visualize the characters and scenes because of the descriptive phrases in the book." "Willie, you did a great job of pulling the reader into the novel and getting him or her involved. It was like I knew the characters personally."

Most readers are waiting on the sequel(s) to "Winds". Well....I think that I will have to accommodate the readers, because they have fallen in love with the characters and the down to earth wholesome quality of the book.
