I just received a new award for my writing. Always a pleasant shock! Word Weaving http://www.wordweaving.com gives out an Award of Excellence and not only did EYES OF BETRAYAL receive it, senior editor Cindy Penn felt that its prequel KISS OF DECEIT that she reviewed a couple of years ago deserved the same award as she realized how much that book had stuck with her and how much she remembered it. She said it's the first time she had gone back and given an award to a book that had already been reviewed. Now how cool is that? I was totally flattered and in shock!
