May 4 is also Kentucky Derby Day, the biggest event of the year in my hometown of Louisville. I'm very excited to be attending my high school reunion later this year, coincidently, at Churchill Downs at the Derby Museum. I look forward to visiting with my friends, a very special group of people whom I've never forgotten. And who knows? The experience might lead to another book. Knowing me, there'll be at least one murder...

FULL MOON LULLABY is still in the works, but has taken a back seat to CHEF CHERI'S HASTY, TASTY MEALS, mainly because I've had so many requests for my cookbook. It's taken years of kitchen testing, and my husband has been a noble guinea pig. I'm hoping to have the book compiled and ready to publish by the fall of 2002.

Meanwhile, watch for my contemporary romance, LAST RESORT, to debut in July 2002. I've already received a favorable pre-release review from www.romanceatitsbest.com. LAST RESORT is not a murder mystery, although there is a subplot dealing with a homicide. I just can't write a story without killing SOMEONE!
