What's new for Cheryl Norman? I am working on a new novel that I pitched to an editor at Harlequin SuperRomance. I'm calling it ROCKY'S ROAD TO LOVE and have the first three chapters finished so far. My concept is Miss Congeniality (ugly duckling transformation) meets French Kiss (the tutoring friend). I'll keep you posted.

Also, I've submitted RESTORE MY HEART to Medallion Press. This is my "Mustang Sally" mystery, which, coincidently, also has an ugly duckling subplot. Cross your fingers that Medallion likes it.

I like transformation stories, which is why I enjoy writing the ugly duckling theme. My favorite of all transformation stories is A CHRISTMAS CAROL. I re-read it about every 5-6 years and am moved by Scrooge's character growth every time.
