Open-Stage-a-Thon!

A 24-Hour Open Mic event running from 8pm Friday to
8pm Saturday

Starting noontime Saturday the Stage-a-Thon will
present feature artists on the hour every hour until
the very end. The feature performers will include
William “Billy” Barnum, Lee Litif and myself.

$FREE for audience members.

25 cents per poem, song, or performance piece during
the open mic. Open mic begins at 8pm on Friday.

All proceeds help pay for this year’s Pride Day
celebrations in Lawrence.

Ibbetson Street Press Reading.

In celebration of Ibbetson Street’s third year in

print and the publication of the tenth issue of the
magazine the poets of the Ibbetson Street Press will
present a reading.

Expected to appear are editors, Doug Holder, Richard
Wilhelm, and Diane Robataille. Francis Blessington,
Portia Brockway, Don DiVecchio, Harris Gardner,
Beatriz Gonzalez, Anne Taylor, Marc Widershien, are
also expected
