Premiere! “Waltzing to War”” is a dark comedy that uses mime, masks, poetry, and
storytelling to explore the military and domestic effects of war. Imagine Max Fleischer creating an animated version of a William S. Burroughs novel! “Waltzing to War” was previewed as a work in progress in early March to a very positive response

James discusses the relationship between mime and poetry, Cosmic Spelunker Theater, and the work behind “Waltzing to War.” _Spare Change News_ is published by the Homelss Empowerment Project and is available from vendors throughout Boston and Cambridge for $1.
