The Institute for Infinitely Small Things is a research organization whose mission is to invent and distribute new practices of political engagement in everyday life. Current research interests include: performing corporate language in public space, creating definitions of cartography, destabilizing consumer architectures, hacking maps and lying to people about art.

iKatun's mission is to foster and develop temporary communities that experiment with art, geography and political engagement in everyday life. iKatun provides fiscal sponsorship to artists, produces experimental educational gatherings such as conferences, walks and reading groups, and conducts field research with the Institute for Infinitely Small Things. iKatun is a 501(c)3 organization based in Boston, MA.

2.) Poetry: “Into the Station” at Boston City Hall

My poem, “Into the Station,” is being exhibited as part of the Mayor’s Prose and Poetry Program at Boston City Hall. Other writers in the exhibition include Mette Arnmark, Patricia Brodie, Jennifer Elmore, Brennan Fitzgerald, Ann Fletcher, Patricia Giragosian, Julie Kuhn, Valerie Lawson, Richard Moore, Ricco Villanueva Siasoco, and Sheila Mullen Twyman.

“Into the Station” has previously appeared in Poesy Magazine as well as in Tokens: Contemporary Poetry of the Subway (P&Q Press, 2003)

Boston City Hall is in Old Scollay Square, accessible by way of the Government Center, State Street, and Haymarket Subway Stations.

3.) Mime Classes at BCCA’s Summer Arts Program

There are still openings for students in the Brookline Community Center for the Arts (BCCA) Summer Arts Program. I will be teaching mime daily from July 24th to August 4th as part of a program that will include acting, improv comedy, and musical theatre. Classes are for ages 9 to 15.
