Ho, ho, ho… Merry Christmas!

This month (and this month only) “Every Day Is Mother’s Day” readers will receive not one, but TWO columns. The first one is actually a “repeat” of sorts. While I was reviewing what topics I had covered about the Christmas season over the years I discovered that my column from five years ago, “The True Meaning of Christmas,” is all the more pertinent in regards to our current practices regarding this holiday. After you read it you’ll see what I mean.

Not to disappoint readers who are eager to hear about our recent hosting of a German exchange student, I penned another piece for your enjoyment: “Teenager: The Universal Language.” I’m sure it will “speak” for itself…

There’s not much to report this month on the book publishing front. Recently I heard back from an editor saying he is still interested in publishing a collection of my humorous, early “Every Day Is Mother’s Day” columns. The tentative title is SALSA THERAPY AND OTHER HOME REMEDIES. The collection will probably come out in e-book format only. I’ll let you in on the whens and wheres and how-muchs as soon as I know.

Q: Who designs and updates your web site?

A: My web site is handled exclusively by the firm of “Me, Myself and I” if you haven’t guessed already. Why? Because I’m the cheapest webmaster I know! :-)

To answer your next question, No, I don’t design other web sites. (I hear you all breathing a sigh of relief there!) But I do admit to updating the Missouri Chapter of the Romance Writers of America web site at http://www.morwa.org from time to time.

I can’t claim sole credit for my webmastering abilities, either. I received a lot of help initially from my talented computer-whiz husband, Tim. And I hope next month to launch a newly revamped web site that Tim’s been working on for some time now… It looks fantastic. Stay tuned.
