I heard an original song only once at a concert years ago. The first line was, "Love isn't hearts and flowers and walking on the beach. Love is helping someone be what they have to be." I remember being struck by the expression "be what they HAVE to be." Because I HAD to be a movie maker. And I remember everyone that encouraged me, especially those that took an active part in advancing my career. The greatest thing that you can do for a loved one, is help them be what they have to be.
