Sounds ridiculous? Right. You don't want to take your Bond girl to a nice restaurant and start counting out coupons in front of her and the waiter. When your in college it's all right. But after that, forget the coupons. It's okay to pay the fair price for something.

That's not to say that you don't take advantage of discounts and deals. But be doing it in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The same goes for hotel bargain group clubs. Of course, become a member of hotel chains that you use like the Hilton Honors club. But don't join lower class hotel bargain clubs where you are lumped together in the lobby and taken to bad rooms.

Check into your hotel with dignity, especially when traveling with your Bond girl, family, or on business.
