S. Joan Popek announces an interview with BBC Radio about a poem she wrote, "I Saw An Eagle." The poem and her interview will be a part of their program "Eagles, Owls and Nightingales" which will be aired on September 8, 2003 at 20:30 UK time, which is about 8:30 p.m. EST (I think.). If you can't get BBC on the radio, you can probably listen to it on their Internet Site at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/
The poem was written for her grandson, Scott, who just returned from the Middle East in July and guess what? They interviewed him too.
