Welcome New Subscribers!
I’m glad you’ve all signed up for this crazy ride and have decided you want to give my stories a try.
If djinns, ghosts, succubi or other mythological beings that go bump in the night are your jam, then you've come to the right place! If supernatural stories about psychics, reincarnation, time travel and wiccans arouse your curiosity (among other things 😉) then you’ve come to the right place.
Did I also mention spicy, sensual, erotic romance? Well, those are in my catalogue too. Just know, though my stories can be dark, and I take my characters through various trials and tribulations, they all get an HEA at the end. Always. Unless it’s my horror stories. For those, enter at your own risk 😂
The stories you will find in my catalogue include all of the above paranormal elements and beings and more. The characters are everyday people just like you and me, trying to survive and find love in a crazy mixed-up world. Okay, most of them might have a few gifts here and there that the rest of us don't, but otherwise, they are just like you and me, just a little larger than life😃
I believe I have a little something that all romance readers can appreciate. So sit back, enjoy the trip and stay abreast of what’s coming next!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Greetings all,
Is it warm out yet where you are? New York City is slowly but surely getting there. Outside my apartment building the trees are already starting to bloom. It's a welcome sight, I have to say. The pollen and ragweed that comes along with it though...that's another story.
That last experiment from what I could make out didn't reach everyone's box in the best of shape. The content was there but... Hokay, let's just say it left a little to be desired and something went a little skewy (as Elmer would say) with the format and delivery. Bear with me. It'll get better. Really... I promise!
Hope this newsletter finds you all well and ready to dive into a new reading experience...namely an e-book (I know, I know, you'd rather dive into the warm and clear blue water of a beach in Bermuda or a pool at the family picnic in the park with the tempting aroma of barbecue wafting under your little nostrils. In due time, ladies and gents, in due time)!
So, without further ado, let's begin again:
BREAKING NEWS!
For those of you who don't already know and/or haven't heard me shouting my excitement from the rooftops, my paranormal djinni romance "Desert Dreams" sold to new independent publisher NovelBooks, Inc. Recent Review:
Seeing stars...five to be exact!
Suffice to say, I was floored and more than happy with this latest excerpt from Simply Dreams (http://www.simplydreams.net) review of MILES TO GO: "...Miles To Go is a mind blowing coming of age story that will leave you with goose bumps. Gracie McKeever takes you by the hand and leads you into her world. It's not a gentle journey. you hurt when Chris and Tori hurt, you cry when they cry and you laugh at their juvenile behavior, but deep down you feel as if you know them. Though set in the early nineties, they face the same trials and tribulations as teenagers now, which adds yet another level of realism. Categorized in the young adult genre, but suitable for adults and teens alike Miles To Go is not a book for the faint-hearted reader, but the violence doesn't detract from the story line. If you can handle a hard hitting, gritty, down and dirty story that will leave you yearning for more after a completely shocking ending, Miles To Go is the story for you." Angela B. Mink-Torres for Simply E-Books, 4/15/01. Visit http://simplydreams.net/seb/review/miles.html to check out the entire review.
The Pen Is Mightier:
Latest issue is up! http://members.aol.com/RitrsPulse/Pen.html
This Month's Spotlight Site:
You guessed it...Simply Dreams! (http://www.simplydreams.net)
Formerly Simply E-Books, this site has moved to its own new domain and undergone a slight makeover. It still, however, retains the principles and an untarnished enthusiasm that has quickly made it one of the premier sites for quality e-book reviews (and I'm not just saying that because I've been on the receiving end of some very stellar write-ups. Honest!). Insightful, entertaining and informative content and their recently added feature, Dreams to Reality is a must-read for aspiring writers and readers interested in learning about the writing process from the source; this is where you meet the authors. Simply Dreams is expanding their review interests to inlcude print media and is looking forward to opening Simply Books this summer. So check them often!
"Why MILES TO GO is a True Book of my Heart"
Gracie C. McKeever (c) 2001
"I grew up with MTG; it is the book that took me from "amateur" to "professional", my first book in every sense of the word, not only a book from the heart, but also a book from my blood sweat and tears. It is the one on which I cut my writing teeth, the one on which I flexed my immature editorial muscles. The one I coddled and petted through several revisions and metamorphoses. The one I nursed through numerous rejections, and shielded from solicitations of costly sham literary agencies and services that tried to take advantage of the child's desperate single mother. From the beginning, through all its amateur incarnations, I had faith in the universality of the characters, their story and saw only the potential for their survival and fruition, saw only their ability to thrive..." Continued at Authors Den http://authorsden.com/visit/viewarticle.asp?id=1077&AuthorID=623
Pssst...Authors Den just celebrated its first birthday in April. Let's all wish Authors Den a very Happy Birthday and may she and her legion of contributing authors and loyal readers who daily visit her site have many happy returns for many, many years to come!
