http://www.authorsden.com/juliedonnerandersen Newsletter Dated: 5/16/2005 7:24:33 AMSubject: Help Wanted (Questions of the Month responses, please!) Hi All!
Hope your Spring has been warm and joyous! It's been a looong winter! I have been busy gardening (my passion!) and redecorating my kids' bedrooms (my teen girl doesn't want Beauty & The Beast bedding anymore? Why not? ...lol), and I have also been busy putting together this month's isse of the WOW/GOW Newsletter. As always, I am looking to my fine subscribers to help out, so...
...OK, gals - send ‘em in! Answer one, two, or all three questions, but please do participate! Your answers are guaranteed to be anonymous, and they may help a new GOW/WOW deal with her similar issues:
1.) Who are the “toxic people” in your life regarding your relationship with a widower? How do they make you feel? Does your widower help you (come to your rescue), or does he hinder your relationship with these people (doesn’t stand up for you)? What have you done (or what would you like to do) to gain acceptance from these people? If you have not spoken up, why not?
2.) What have you personally done to ease your transition into GOWdom or WOWdom? Have you tried traditional or pastoral/religious counselling or therapy? Do you regularly communicate with other WOWs or GOWs (or a sympathetic friend or relative) about your issues, and if so, how has doing so helped you?
3.) Have you and your widower had a child together? If so, how has this changed your WOW/GOW/widower relationship’s dynamics or issues? If not, are you contemplating having a child together? What is holding you back?
~~Send in your responses via e-mail to juliedonnerandersen@mail.com. Results to be posted in the JUNE 2005 edition of the newsletter. Please do not use Julie’s messaging system through her web page at Authors Den (http://www.authorsden.com/juliedonnerandersen) to submit responses, please. Thank you! Julie :)
