It is hard to believe that the end of the year is approaching.

2012 has passed quickly. My apologies for being so quiet and not being my normal self - - but life has dealt me some discouraging blows.

Needless to say, I am looking forward to 2013 and hope your holidays are filled with happiness and hope.

Here on the party perch, the birds have continued to keep me entertained.

I have a new visitor, Tickle who happens to be a neighbor's cat who wants to come live with me.

Although I am not quite ready to add another animal, his company makes me happy and we spend time on the deck together watching the birds and the world go by.

The truth of the matter is that Tickle belongs with a little boy who is four, which is why I won't let him move in or stay here when he insists on it.

My dog pal Bear also loves to visit. His dad works for Google and is over in London. So, he gets to come over for a dog party regularly that makes us both happy!
