Fall has officially arrived and as we head into the last quarter of 2014 things are changing, not only in nature but in my world as I've known it. Right now I am on the way to visit my auntie who was put into hospice this week. After a visit I am heading up for some R&R in Carmel before heading over again to spend more time with her before returning to the mountains.

She has lived a full 89 years and I've been spending time with her about every six months, sad as it is, live here ends at some point. I almost crossed over in 2009 so every day is a gift--and living is the moment is called "being present" for a reason. She has a great attitude as a woman of faith and we all pray that she is spared the ugly pain cancer can sometimes bring. If you'd like to include here on your prayer list, her name is Lily.

As for me personally, I am blessed to be able to say that it is nice to be able to say that things are finally looking up. Although they still have to scan my lungs for damage and mold, the mold identified in my gut last month is gone. The 30 days cleanse seems to have worked its wonders. So far, during this divinely orchestrated journey, it has been eleven months in recovery.

Something has changed since this last week and a lot of people have been commenting on how I've changed. It is a noticeable difference. At this phase I've dropped half of the 70 pounds that came on due to inflammation in my body in reaction to the mold. My eyes are brighter, I have more energy, and my body systems seem to be starting to return to normal.

Most people have no idea how severe mold exposure is because it isn't always visible. It isn't simply an allergy but a dangerous exposure to toxins. The more I research the book, the more astounded I am at how much is not known about it. I am still working on the book and am glad to be back to a more comprehensive work schedule and accepting new clients.

We have launched some new products and services which will be available this month at a discount (see the ARKtech update). The Learn at Lunch webucation series are now only offered online. The great thing about that is that many will be offered for free, while the premium training series is available at a low monthly rate per business.

On the home front, well I am still in transition. I am hoping to find a writers cottage or guest house and head north but we shall see since I will be hopping back to South Carolina by the end of the year if all goes well.

Since the book has priority over the behavior booklets, the progress on the animal behavior training series looks like it will be prioritized with the beginning of the year.

The good news is that we are working on reactivating all of the blog updates in 2015. Since I have over 20 websites, the daunting task of pulling those into a format that fits in with the new branding has been a bit of a challenge.

Now that it is sorted, things will be reworked online so the task of running all the online properties gets a streamlined so that updates and management work better and require less effort than they have in the past.

If you have any topics you'd like to see, feel free to reply and let me know. ARKanimals is going back to the original focus of sharing updates related to wild animals, conservation, and behavior training.

For those of you who have read, "What Animals Can Teach Us about Spirituality," I'm pondering the creation of a workbook or a sequel. Let me know your thoughts on this as well.

My trip to Carmel will be to see my canine pal, Kona. The silly dog fell 29 feet or so and is in recovery. This is a good reminder that despite what sense you think your pet has, it is a good idea to err on the side of caution.

Using leashes and seatbelts can not only help with peace of mind but it also can prevent severe accidents or damage to an animal if you are involved in an accident.
