So, I have good news and not so good news—but things are better
now.

First, I hope you all had a good 4th of July. I certainly did but a few days after I almost died from anaphylactic shock, an allergic reaction to an exotic nut that somehow made it into the mix I always eat without a problem.

Anyway, my neighbor got me to the local firehouse—which is just down the street and they saved my life.

In the meantime, I watched the light change in the room while I was being treated and I was fascinated—it went gold but just then the drugs were pumped into my body and I came back to the world.

Many people talk about near death experiences, I wasn’t sure about this whole situation but was told that the light I saw was a doorway—and so here I am—guess I chose to stay for a reason.

The aftermath has been tough because the drugs they used hit on those very things I was working to heal.

Needless to say, I’ve been resting a lot and still have not fully recovered…so I hope you are enjoying the posting of the videos on the blog!

So, I am going to believe that I am just getting all of this out of the way at once and am looking forward to a fabulous fall!

In line with what could go wrong did go wrong—the ebook launch has been entertaining. The upside is that despite all the glitches and my inability to do much—Flea Control Secrets should hit the market this month.

I had targeted the 8th of July but things being as they are, it is my hope I can get it out to everyone by the 15th of August.

It is very colorful and a very different experience when compared to my traditional publishing experiences…but more on that later—keep your eyes posted for a special email.

In the meantime, I hope you are enjoying Shark Week. It is one of my favorite programs every year. I remember Eugenie Clark’s discovery of a shark deterrent from a fish (wrote about shark stuff March 4 - 5, 2009) and how she used to turn over sharks so they would go immobile.

At the time she was one of the few female scientists getting coverage.

Anyway, I hope you tune into the Discovery Channel for Shark Week—always fascinating.

2. Discussion for the Month
===============================================
Humor goes a long way when it comes to dealing with just about anything. Recently I posted a video called Shi**ty Little Dog Syndrome (listed below in the Article Round Up) which created quite the stir around cyberspace.

However amusing, the suggestions were good ones and dog aggression is a serious problem for many dog owners.

Behavior problems don’t just happen suddenly. They are caused by imbalances within the household and improper relationships between animals and people.

Many aggression problems (and other problems) are actually reinforced by pet parents and their friends.

Ideally most behavior problems should be addressed when an animal is young or first arrives into the home—but most people wait to deal with such issues until they are forced to do so.

It might be a bite or a dog fight that triggers the motivation.

If you have not watched the video, go have a good laugh and then take some actions suggested in the video to help eliminate Shitty Little Dog Syndrome.
