Well folks, it's that time of the week again. I know...ALREADY!



Well we've been making leaps and bounds in progress with books this week, at least here on my end. During the previous week, I did final hardcopy edits for Alexander Quinn's novel "The Fallen." And what an excellent book it turned out to be! I was thoroughly and pleasantly surprised by how quickly the editing process went for it. I know that it's mainly because of the fine craftmanship of Alex's talent that made the read quick and enjoyable on top of it. You don't find a lot of authors like that nowadays and it's refreshing to find something so elegantly put together and awe inspiring. If you haven't started reading it, I highly recommend it.



So with Alex's book being finished with the entire interior, I had to wait a day or two for the approval of his cover. It's definately an interesting one but it clearly illustrates the demonic nature of the book itself. Cin yet again has proven that she is a goddess when it comes to doing covers. She absolutely amazes me and her work is always pleasing to the authors themselves. The project is nearly finished and now I'm just waiting for her to whip up the back cover and it will be available on our storefront here shortly. Hopefully by the end of the day.



On top of the that, the book will also be getting an ISBN within two weeks time or so. The reason being for this is because Alex has agreed to buy the ISBN in order to get his novel up onto the online bookstores a helluva lot faster. I'm definately anxiously waiting for that to be our next step. :)



On top of finishing up The Fallen, David has sent me another revised chapter of Tuckers Creek. Hopefully that will be up here on the storefront as well by the end of the month.



I also got another novella from Kody Boye for his novella collection called Play Dead, I edited that in a days time since there wasn't much to fix whatsoever. Now I'm just waiting for him to finish his edits for the main title story and the interior for that will be just about complete aside from getting the author's pages. It's due out in April at his request otherwise it'd be done by the end up of this month and up for sales. He's also wanting to do a special edition hardcover copy that he is willing to autograph for his fans. So if you're interested in that, be sure to let him know.



I've gone through the "Get your book published" contest here on the Writerscafe that we have going on and I've found many projects for the staff and I to work on. If you have a novel that is finished or near completion (preferrably) feel free to submit it to the contest. Just look up the name and you should be able to find it no problem.
