I got a call from my daughter at college. She says she's doing well. She wanted to talk about her novel-in-progress with her "famous" mother. I had to laugh, but it warmed my heart to hear her praise.

High School Tennis is finally over which means I will have something of a sane life again -- well as sane as it ever gets around here. Now starts Jazz band concerts and drama. I have a very busy son!

I have been invited to speak to a high-school English class about creative writing. I will also become a student's writing mentor. I feel awed and humbled that people respect me because I wrote a book. I hope that I can help others to follow their muses, too.
