The "Whenever Newsletter" containing the wit and wisdom of LDS author Susan Law Corpany is put out several times a year, but not on any set schedule. You will find the stories behind the stories, excerpts from works in progress, humorous insights, ideas for how to avoid doing housework. In other words--whatever and whenever. (Just a touch of rebellion.) Subscription is free and free from the contraint of a publishing schedule, because after all, writers are under enough deadlines. Enjoy!

I am going to be doing a series of articles about organization and preparation, and this is the first one. It might surprise you what you don't know. It isn't until a crisis, large or small, that we usually discover our preparedness or lack of it. Following the assignments from these next few columns will keep you from being blind-sided by a lack of preparedness when and if a crisis hits.
I recently put out notice that I am available for speaking opportunities in March at Relief Society Birthday Parties, book clubs, firesides. So far I have the following bookings and availabilities.
March 4th - Centerville RS Birthday Party
March 5th - Available in the greater SLC/Provo area
March 6th - Available in the greater SLC/Provo area
March 9th - Tentative Fireside - Rexburg, Idaho
March 11th - Boise Idaho RS Birthday Party
March 12th - Pocatello Idaho RS Birthday Party
March 13 - Available anywhere between Pocatello and Provo
March 16 - Available for evening fireside SLC/Provo
March 18 - Salt Lake City - RS Birthday Party
March 19th - Available in greater SLC/Provo area
March 20th - Salt Lake City - RS Birthday Party
March 21 and 22 - LDS Storymakers Conference
March 23 - Available for evening fireside SLC/Provo
Generally speaking, I am keeping my Fridays and Saturdays free to spend with my family.

We had a wonderful visit with our children and grandchildren over the holidays, starting out in Springville and ending up in Seattle. It is 75 balmy degrees here, and we aren't missing the snow and cold, but we sure miss those two beautiful little granddaughters.
Our son Rob became engaged to Jessica Pitcher over the holidays and we are excited for their wedding in the Logan Temple on May 23. All of Rob's sibs had told us they wanted Jessica in the family, so we knew before we met her that she was a keeper.
