I know many of you have given birth. It is an experience created of intense pleasure & deep pain. From beginning to end, usually roundabout a 9-month period, we go through feelings of every sort. We want the end product, that beloved baby, to get here and it seems as if forever isn’t as long as it takes for our child to be born.

In the being-born process for "Reluctant Witness: Robert Taylor, Hollywood, & Communism" – my literary baby – it seemed as if the time would never come. So many complications, so many frustrating false contractions. And 9 months? Oh how I wish it’d taken only 9 months for my beautiful baby to be born! Still, as that ol’ oh-so-true saying goes, nothing worth having comes easy, & that was certainly true with this baby of mine. Finally, with the end of April came the birth of my child. After a 15-year pregnancy, & with the flawless help of my topnotch “midwives,” aka Tease Publishing, the already-named “Reluctant Witness: Robert Taylor, Hollywood, & Communism” has entered this world. A physical, real tale of human life. The story of the life of Golden Era movie star, Robert Taylor.

Like all proud parents, I want to let you know how you can get a good look at my baby. I’d like you to be able to hold him (all things considered, of course it’s a boy!), touch him, and see him for yourself. You can get your own copy of his original self by going to:

Getting a book into distribution can be a step-by-step deal. If by any chance you go to your bookstore & are told they can’t directly order this book – that’s nonsense. Please forward the store’s name & location directly to me & I’ll make sure my Publisher & Press Agent contacts them to set them straight. The book has just recently listed in “Books In Print” so, occasionally, a store could be slow on the uptake.

I will soon begin setting up book signings – as many as possible in the Baltimore/Washington area, but also in other parts of the country. As of right now, I plan to be in Nebraska for the first weekend in June, and in Phoenix, AZ & Los Angeles in October. I have plans for a publisher event in North Carolina in July, as well. Other options are being considered.
