If I’d have known this the other night when I sent out my newsletter, I’d have included the news. Since I just learned, however, I do hope you’ll allow me one more message in your “in” box . . . "Reluctant Witness: Robert Taylor, Hollywood, & Communism" has been nominated for Preditors & Editors 2008 “Print/Electronic Novel (All other genres)” Award. I’m so thrilled! For anyone who knows of various websites for books, writers, publishers, & editors, you’ll recognize Preditors & Editors. Called, “A guide to publishers and writing services for serious writers!” P&E has grown an excellent reputation as a topnotch site . . . lots of resources, reviews, good information—&, obviously, awards!

Books are listed alphabetically. You’ll find Reluctant Witness about halfway down the page. PLEASE VOTE BY JANUARY 14th. You’ll have to give your full name & e-mail address at the end of the page before submitting. I am fairly certain this will not put you on any mail lists, & you won’t receive future e-mail from P&E. I’ve voted for others in these polls, & have never received anything from the site.

I would greatly appreciate your vote. As that ol’ saying goes, relating to the Academy Awards, “It’s an honor just to be nominated,” but let’s be real. It would be waaay beyond that to win! And if you can forward this message on to others, with your blessing, & ask all your friends & family to also vote . . . the viral aspect could well be the clincher. Remember, votes must be in by JANUARY 14th.

I would SO appreciate any help you can offer. Obviously, the more votes that come in for my book, & for the cover art & artist, the better our chances of winning . . . & a likelihood of more sales. As I mentioned in my newsletter (more than once, even), it was the 3rd highest seller for my publisher during its 1st quarter. It’s only getting better now!
