Sarah Letesny had everything she could want, a great job, a man who loved her and the perfect house. It seemed everything was perfect for her until that day she got home and her world fell apart... Collin, her fiance, had vanished from sight and took everything that was his with him. For weeks she walked on the beach near her home thinking and wondering what had gone so wrong that Collin left. When she finally went back to work her boss Ron Hitel had decided a change of scenery would be best for her and offered her a position in South Carolina. It was that same day that her car exploded in the parking garage at work.
Once in South Carolina she began getting strange items that made her tend to believe that Collin was somewhere near but was it him? Why did Collin leave so unexpectedly and why did he not try to contact Sarah all this time? What is Ron Hitel's part in this story?

This story has romance of course but the mystery and plots that seem to shift the reader's attention from one character to the next are done very well and I must admit I was baffled in a few places as to who was the real villain. I recommend Orchid's Beach and would love to see it made into a movie.
