Bob just can't stop when it comes to Maureen. He wants what he wants and while vacationing in Newport, Rhode Island he shows just how much. Bill, a business colleague, tells them of the loss of their jobs and sets in motion a dangerous ploy to escape from their ex company's CEO's.

There is danger at every corner. Their lives are untangled from many years before, bringing forth old secrets of illicit love affairs and destroying years of trusted friendships. As a level four hurricane bears down on Newport, there is much more trouble than they ever bargained for.

It's a tumuluous battle of changed identities and fiery anger. Their struggle is one of survival. As they flee from many enemies, including mother nature's fiery wrath, they head from the oceans to the mountains for safety. Are they friends or foes or could they even begin to know?
