Happy Hello Dear Readers!

The crisp, warm days that introduced us to an early spring seem to have temporarily receded into cooler climes. Of course, weather doesn’t really matter a whole lot to me since I am “madly” working to complete my manuscript on suicide warfare. Progress is about where it should be with two months and ten days remaining until July 1. Still, it is crunch time and a lot of pressure. Contemporary topics tend to take you on a bumpy ride, especially this topic, suicide warfare.

Gale Group publishing has asked me to review articles after July 1. So, I already have possible work lined up. This group published my two popular culture articles, 1) Jackie O. and 2) Sexual Harassment, for which I had to update in January and February 2012.

I continue to help others with all types of papers, theses, and dissertations on women in combat. It is heartwarming to see that my book is being used all over the world. Some books I don’t hear back, so I never know on what type of journey they have embarked; but I’ve had a fair amount of feedback on the combat book.

I apologize for not writing a missive for almost two months, but my quiet was because of my busy writing schedule. Thank you for your patience and support.
