Happy Hello Dear Readers!!

Negotiations are complete; I have signed with ABC - CLIO to author their _Abuse: An Encyclopedia of Causes, Consequences, and Treatments_ (the working title). This huge undertaking is slated for publication in June 2014.

Although my book writing began with an American societal issue, sexual harassment, the last time I wrote on American civil society was seven books ago with my 2003 book, _Paternity and American Law_. The exceptions are my two 2012 articles that I wrote for Gale Group’s _Encyclopedia of Popular Culture_.

As you might imagine, writing an encyclopedia is a tremendous undertaking, and I am expected to write the majority of the articles. The remaining will be written by contributors that I select. Thus, if you or someone you know, is qualified to write a 725 word article(s) on an aspect of abuse in American society, please reply to me at rskaine@cfu.net. You may hear from me again when I put out my letter of appeal to prospective contributors.
