Happy Hello Dear Readers!

Summer is here and with it comes varied weather, rain, storms, and sunshine. If the storms aren’t too bad, I’ll take summer over Iowa winters. This summer will not find me basking in its warmth a great deal although we still get out to enjoy our 45 minute treks on the hilly recreation trail nearby.

I have participate in 3 interviews, one with a high school senior, and the other two with reporters. The work on the Encyclopedia on abuse is moving at a fast pace. I have a 25% submission coming up on June 15. On August 1, I have an essay due to Praeger on women in combat. In September, I have a 50% Encyclopedia submission due.

Just so I don’t get bored, either at the end of June or the first of July, I have been invited to the United Nations to give a keynote speech on terrorism. And in September, I have been invited to participate in a meeting at the UN featuring first ladies of West Africa. The details of these two events are yet to be worked out.

I extend my deepest appreciation to Newsletter members who are writing entries for the Encyclopedia. Forty percent of the Encyclopedia will be authored by people who volunteer to share their knowledge. Thank you and God Bless for your contribution to the education of our youth.
