Happy Hello Dear Readers!

“It is high time to do such and such,” my Mother used to say. Now I’m saying, “It is high time I wrote to my faithful Newsletter subscribers.” The last time I wrote was six months ago. The upside is that writing activities are up.

ABC-CLIO has assigned the production of my book, Abuse: An Encyclopedia of Causes, Consequences, and Treatments, to Amnet Systems, who will manage a two phase production schedule. The first phase involves my approval of the edited manuscript which I will be receiving on November 26. The second set of pages, that is, the “page proofs” or “first-pass pages” I will be receiving on January 29. Corrections at this stage are kept to grammatical errors and errors of fact; stylistic changes and other editorial corrections are not allowed. The Encyclopedia is due out April 2014.
My book with Praeger, Sexual Assault in the U.S. Military: The Battle Within America's Armed Forces manuscript is due April 1, 2015. I am doing usual book writing activities: interviews, transcribing, research, etc.

University of Northern Iowa’s Rodd Library is currently featuring my 2013 book, Suicide Warfare on its home page.

Maybe next Newsletter, my speaking engagement will be finalized for sharing.
