Greetings from Destin, Florida

Lights wound around the trunks of Palm trees revealed remnants of Christmas. The sea of the Gulf sent a pleasant warm wind that told me to take off my Iowa winter coat. The next day, as I walked the Bay side of the Gulf, the seagulls, herons and loons welcomed me back. But the Pelican was much too busy diving for fish for breakfast.

Now sitting comfortably on the balcony overlooking the Bay, life is less with me and the Bay’s quiet beauty never ceases to calm my soul.

My book manuscript begs to be worked on from the table, the laptop beckons, the printer beeps, the baggie full of paper clips, tape, scissors and staples is waiting for life, but the Bay’s beckoning and the Gulf’s call are stronger.
