Happy Hello Dear Readers!!

From the deep winter of Iowa I write you this missive of good cheer. Most of the time, I am hard at work in my Castle on my Afghan manuscript that is due April 1, 2008. Progress is good and the material is most interesting. The past week I have been finalizing my photograph selections and finalizing an agreement with an amazing woman who works with aid agencies to include some of her work in my book.

Meanwhile the following nominations and inclusions have been forthcoming from Marquis' Who's Who: In 2008, my biography will appear in the_25th Silver Anniversary Edition of _Who's Who in the World_ and in the 62nd Edition of _Who’s Who in America_. Thus far, my biography is being considered for inclusion in the 2009 Edition of _Who's Who In America_ and the 2008 - 2009 Edition of _Who's Who of American Women_.

When the book manuscript has been submitted, I have made informal commitments to do a couple writing related tasks: 1) write an article for Sage on women leaders in Africa and 2) consult with a colleague at the University of New Hampshire on a screen play script on women in the military.
