Closing my Florida Castle isn’t the happiest thought as I enjoy this 78 degree sunshiny day, but I am very grateful that I have not been in the snow and cold of Iowa. Music is riding the breeze from the pool below our balcony and my thoughts return to Iowa. Perhaps the “Iowa” ducks nudged my consciousness, too. Orlando or more specifically, Kissimmee, has some beautiful nature trails. We have also been walking around the lakes in Celebration City. I have yet to see an alligator though.

Progress has been at a good rate on the women in combat manuscript. The subject is not new, but some formatting is, for example, the annotated bibliography. Now it is about time to hit the road.
