The moon up in the skies
Gently reflects in your eyes
It comes out every night
It’s such a beautiful sight
Sometimes the clouds cover
When I walk, with my lover
When the sun rises
It brings such surprises
Daffodils dance in its light
It’s such a beautiful sight
Sometimes the clouds cover
When I walk, with my lover
Lightly falls the rain
Its springtime once again
The time has come to pass
When buttercups populate the grass
Sometimes the clouds cover
When I walk, with my lover
Leaves fall gently to the ground
Slowly, without a sound
Autumn is here once more
Silently shutting summer’s door
Sometimes the clouds cover
When I walk, with my lover
Snow is falling, white and clean
A magical, silent, wintry scene
My love has left this earthly life
Left me cold, without my wife
Sometimes the clouds used to cover
When I walked, with my lover
