I dreamt of Hell, its fiery breath, the worm that dieth not. I lived within eternal death— an endless burning rot. Eternity is longer when both hope and time have died. A thousand years is nothing then, where sins have unified. The heated haze of Satan’s lair, the blisters fanned by flame— My blackened flesh in torment there where demons called my name. But yet, I woke to earthly deeds, as cold as Hell is hot. And even though the dream recedes, I saw what sin begot.
