Childhood is a treasure that some of us seem to lose. I like it when someone tells me that I "never grew up." Maybe there's a reason or a thousand. Wonderful poem, Leysa. Love and peace. Regis
This is stunning and such a warm fuzzy feeling to grandparents every where.

I like the love this poem conveys. I like the way you constructed it with the children and their innocence, likewise the dark shades speak of mystery, and finally the poem is made whole with the revelation of the grandparents. Exquisite poetry.
