A little romance for Wednesday. The " hours " alludes to the Daily Offices . of monastic orders.
Awakened in the night by our great love: The bonds of sleep slipped in the Passion of this Hour. Passion wakes us In the chilly dawn Love's Morning Office to recite: Praise be to love! Sunlight streaming through the western window illumines our parlor tryst: Afternoon love Tangled bodies in tangled sheets consummate Love's day Love's Hours faithfully kept
