This may not be what it seems

but then again, it may ...

you open your gate
and I enter—
greeted by the
same little smile
that greets me when ever
I come here.
we amble along the path
up and down,
in and out through
your garden.

As we walk, we grow
becoming
one in heart and one in mind
as our walk lengthens
towards our shared goal
deeper in your garden

Our perambulation
become more strenuous
as deeper we go
up and down,
in and out through
your garden.

We carry on
in our converse
sharing
intimate knowledge
of ourselves
in the deepest
recess of
your garden

There we reach
a consciousness
and understanding
by many sought
and few found
in the garden

interesting...read like coitus, building toward gnosis.

Knowledge shared is knowledge spread and enjoyed, if my experience of gardeners and gardening is correct! I have always noticed how animated gardeners get when they find someone who takes the same keen interest in their own favourite source of pleasure in their herbacious borders! Like the cross-fertilisation here. Neat write! TY Kate xx

John,

You're still at it, ain't you, melting my monitor! Complex poem that weaves a thousand different things each time you read it--fantastic! :) Think I'll go back down the garden path again and again--you betcha I'm saving this one. :) Thanks!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :)

This is a beautifully sensuous piece. Your metaphors are sweet, inviting, and lovely... this honors human sexual blending. katy xox
