I wrote this a while back...thinking of what I'd missed and wanting to be whole.

I sat here reading ...nothing
Passing time til sleep
I heard yet a whisper
It came from somewhere deep
I don't recall the reason
I began my search for you
I only know I did it
And how my heartbeat grew
Each minute that was closer
I felt you beckon 'Here!'
I turned an ear to the beat
Then suddenly you're there
I saw the description
Though faint and mystery
I felt again a pang just then
As I wandered near
There you were smiling
Confident and grand
I knew I had to answer
Reach our for your hand
You answered in a moment
Thats all it took from you
You were out there waiting
And I was waiting too
Your answer was a tingle
The second was a pop
The third letter I knew then
This would never stop
Your humming plays within me
Your words help to embrace
The love I have here waiting
Patience with all grace
Right here in this woman
A sourthern one and all
I am a porcelain witness
That love has come to call
Then you.. you were magic
How did you hear my plea
I was a hollow heart before
Suddenly now... I'm free
Come to me in your whisper
Waken me with your kiss
Dance across this threshold
This is what I miss
I want to hold your shoulders
Embrace your smile so fresh
Moondance on your whispers
Flesh to flesh to flesh
Come upon a whisper...
Drop from out the blue
Hold me for this moment
While I'm falling into you.
