I have passed devastation and passed my own fears

I've filled all the buckets and have no more tears

Life is a bundle of twiches that gain

Speed with the memories that flow down like rain

I'm dry as a bone and starched from within

I know I will make it as I know where I've been

Acrid are passions as emotions flee

I have no more tears so will you cry for me?

Please someone with compassion whose been where I've been

Cry for me and I'll heal from within

I don't think I'm strong enough to take anymore

I've been devastated and never been here before

I'm not good at this so someone HELP please

Come take all my tears and then cry for me.

I hope you are not suffering--just writing a heart wrenching poem. If you are, no one can cry for you. Each of us must cry alone in our own way. If you touch us we will cry. But, we may not cry for your pain, but rather, the memory of our own.

So painful, so vulnerable, so open, SO HONEST!! The greatest and bravest thing we can do sometimes is to admit to our own needs and this is a mark of a mature and truly alive human-being who is not afraid to know and to be known by others. You give us the greatest privilege of saying "Let us be there for you", which, in turn, enriches our own souls with the understanding that we are "wanted". I pray that, over and above our own human attempts to bring solace and comfort, you would find the infinite and everlasting arms opened wide for you, to cover your pain and grief and to bear it with you and for you. Bless you, Susan. LOL Kate xx

I cried when I read this, I hope you aren't there, numb with grief, but when you are, in time you will feel and cry again and though it seems you never will, one day you will be able to smile and laugh again. Exquisite write, Susan.
