...that's loving you!

Poem Artwork

It's time to move a mountain
It's sitting on my heart
It's strong and firm and granite-like
It's heavy on that blind part
Its knowing that it won't budge
No matter what I do
Its more than I can understand
This part of me that's loving you
I curse myself and shake my head
I discombobulate ...it's true
I'm fighting to redeem my heart
This part of me that's loving you
I like having things my way
And now my thoughts escape
To places that I haven't known
Have I time ...is it too late
I love this feeling except this part
You're far away...it's true
This yearning now is all I have
It weighs my heart from loving you.

Capturing the feelings of longing, desire and love for something so strong is hard to do but in this write you make it seem effortless. The romance in the heart of the one you wrote this for will no doubt be stirred and touch by such sweet sentiments and the knowledge that someone cares that much.
